What I expected

It's a cheap low-profile offset rail. It's held in place with two 1.5mm set screws and the clamping portion is extremely thin. So far I haven't observed any flex or cause for concern with a light mounted on it. I don't know that it'll hold up to combat/training use OR overtightening of the set screws for that matter. But it does the job temporarily. Made in china. Like the virus.
